Matiz For Sale

Hey Guys,
I’m selling my blue 1998 Daewoo Matiz. It’s got 201,XXX Kms (About 120,000 miles) on it and is in good running condition. Just recently had it serviced and it’s got 4 new (within a month) tires on it. Here are details:

-5 Speed Manual (and very easy to operate, great for learning)
-5 doors (and surprisingly lots of room)
-Top notch sound system with ipod plugin and mount. Listen to your music and charge your phone / ipod.
-Awesome on gas
-Half off of tolls, taxes, and best of all, insurance! Insurance for one year (I’m 23) runs me about 400,000 won.
-Can park it literally anywhere (as long as it’s legal, of course)
-AC and Heater work really well (a must in this heat)
-Magic Remote to unlock/lock the doors without touching the car
-Super maneuverable, making it perfect for getting around town
-Top speed of about 130 km/hr. It has no problem keeping up on the highways.
-Being one of the most common Korean cars, repairs are insanely cheap. Had the rear wheel bearings completely replaced, both of them, to the tune of 100,000. That's a $500 job back home.

Some Cons:
-It’s got a lot of dings and dents. Funny enough, I’ve never wrecked it or hit anything, but due to the awesomeness that is Korean parking, they appear out of the blue sometimes.

-The clearcoat is starting to peel on the hood.

-Very slight power steering leak. I was quoted at 150,000 to fix it. I chose to spend 10,000 on a bottle of power steering fluid and simply top it off once every other month. 1 container lasted me the entire year.

-Back left interior door handle is broken. Not a big deal. People can choose to get out taxi style, or the driver can let them out. Fixing it would probably be about 10,000 won, I just never bothered with it.

That’s about it. It’s got its’ rough spots obviously, but for being a 15 year old car it runs really well. I take it to the beach just about every sunny weekend and it has never left me stranded.

Sale Details:
Anyone can come test drive it whenever they like. If you like it, you can give me a deposit and come August 18th, it’s yours. I’m asking 950,000 won or best offer. I can deliver anywhere within 2 hours. That covers Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongnam provinces. Thanks for reading, and feel free to message me for details.

Jawdropper.

Broken by a soccer ball. Cheap to replace if wanted.

Simply "appeared" one morning.

Ripped the rear left door handle off to avoid people opening the door in front of oncoming cars.

AMAZING Clarion Soundsystem. Had it installed when I first got the car. Total cost = $300

The NOS is hidden. I promise.

Less than 200 kms on all 4 new tires.
